CASABLANCA
The white city is undoubtedly the biggest city of the Kingdom. The economic and financial capital of the country with more than 4 million inhabitants. It is the first business center, has the first seaport and first university center of the Kingdom. The development of this city is ever increasing with more construction. It causes today a real urbanism problem. Casablanca is not an exception to the social gap between luxurious and slam neighborhoods.
The city is nevertheless very pleasant, thanks to its very soft climate during all seasons. The sea and its gardens as well as its traditions and modernity are a continuous contrast.
Like all big cities, Casablanca suffers from traffic jams. It is preferable to take a taxi. Casablanca is the city that is best served by daily flights linking the main cities of the Kingdom and the whole world to Casablanca. It also has a pleasant seaport, many train stations and numerous buses. The economic capital has developed an important network of transportation. Take a plan of the very detailed Casablanca city, because streets are not well indicated and you may get lost.
Many international brands are available. Prices in the shops are fixed. For the souks or big shops, you should bargain the price and be aware of false products.
